Finding
a business: To
find a business you must first select an area/chapter. After
selecting an area/chapter you may then use the Business Type
to find a business by business type category or you may choose
to go directly to the Business Listing if you know the listing
number.
Business
Type: Clicking
on a category heading (dropdown) will take you to the available
businesses in the area/chapter under that catagory heading.
You may also limite the search by using the price options.
List
of Businesses: You
may contact any FBBA member office to obtain more information
on a business. Clicking on the listing number of a business
will display the listing office for that business. Clicking
on the Chapter of a business will take you to that Chapter section
of a Chapter Member Offices List where the business is located.
You may then scroll up or down the list of member offices to
select one to contact to obtain more information.
Viewing
the List of Businesses:
The List of Businesses has columns of financial information.
Depending on the software (browser) you are using, not all columns
may show up on the same screen. You may need to drag the scroll
bar to the right to display some of the columns.
Printing
the List of Businesses:
You may wish to print the List of Businesses for easy reference.
Most software has printing options which will allow you to print
one, several, or all pages. Please note that page formats will
differ depending on the software you are using and the printing
configurations you have selected. You may want to look at the
page margins settings before printing. Setting the left and
right margins to 0.50" (1/2 inches) is usually required
on most browsers in order to fit all of the columns of this
list on a page. There are several factors that determine the
amount of information that will fit on a page lenth aside from
the top and bottom margin settings. Therefore, you may not be
able to easily match the page lenghts and page numbers exactly
to the ones set in the list.
Printing
a section of the List of Businesses:
If your software (browser) allows you to select which pages
to print, you may only wish to print those sections which have
certain categories of specific interest to you. As mentioned
above, you may not be able to match the page numbers exactly
to the ones set in the list. However, they should be close enough.
If your software has a print preview option, you should use
it to determine exactly which pages to print.
